LS VTEC is self explanatory...its an LS with VTEC. you swap a VTEC head to the nonVTEC LS motor
I would personally go with the type r motor though

imho, since you already have the lsvtec setup, dont waste the money to buy a type r...just build the ls/vtec engine for boost...youll be much happier with it considering it already has low compression pistons...its good for boost so i would stick with it...plus its got *some* torque.

i love my lsvtec man...but I'll tell you right now...either make that LS a LS-T or go for the ITR motor...the lsv is nice...but it's bit of a **** tease since you can't rev quite as high (depending on your build of course).
