Default Jump started a car now mine has trouble starting

I jump started my RX7 with my B series 93 hatch and it took a bit to get it started. then it died again and I started it accidently with the civic off but jumper cables still hooked up.

Now my car dosent seem to start as quickly as usual and a couple times I have gotten in and turned the key and noting happnes then I try it again and the car starts.........wtf

Could I have fryed my starter or battery???? this sucks

yeah sometimes jumping someone wiht your battery will drain it somewhat. I've heard it will kill it quicker, but that hasn't been my experience. I jump people without a second thought.

well since the RX7 has been in storage for a while I cranked it over a few times to get oil pressure and also since its an RX7 it died a bunch of times after I got it started so I jumped it quite a few times

i jump started many people with my original battery, and that damn thing lasted almost 8 years before it finally gave out. best case scenario (which i highly suspect is what you have here), the battery got drained, and hasn'tbeen fully recharged by the alternator (which, as i understand it, the alternator won't fully charge it from a complete drain). hook it up to a battery charger, and then you should be fine.

worst case scenario, you might have killed a cell. if that happened, it's time to get another battery, unfortunately. i say just take it to Autozone/O'Reilley's/Kragen/Pep Boys or any other shop around you and have them check the charge.

Just buy a optima battery, those things take a beating and then some, u can even mount it upside down just for kicks so that next time u jump someones car they can be amazed at the amazing civic with the upside down battery

Well I have a 3 month old battery from Les Schwab so if it is fucked I will try to con them into giving me another. Would suck if I toasted a 60 month battery 3 months into it lol

I know optimas are good but do they make one smallenough to fit in the stock location? And no I dont want to mount one in the hatch
