Default I Have A D-Series Engine!

can i buy headers that will fit on any 89-91 civic si ?? or can i buy just any header for any d-series ??

i dont know the engine code.. and also some places dont say the engine code the header is for

just the model year ?? thanks for your help

okay one more.. lol so even if the advertisement for the headers says del sol d16 headers that will fit on my 90EF w/d16 right ??

Yes but the o2 sensor bungholes might be in a different position.

Well if they are in different places, take it to your local exhaust shop and have them relocate it.

I assume you are getting a "deal"... otherwise, why not buy what is made for your specific application.

dude wut are you talking about.. why do u think i asked.. if the motor is the same.. why would i need a specific application ?? thats why i asked.. and got an answer

just to let you know dont buy a brand new dc cause you can get a used one and save a ton of money there all over the place. i see your in ca so your gonna want that carb number.

it sounds like it will bolt up fine. the problem is your obdO ef has the o2 sensor near the head and the del sol o2 sensor is near the collector. if you would get the del sol you could use that location but it will tell the ecu false information. so your other option, if buying the del sol header, would be to plug up the bung near the collector and have a new bung welded in closer to the head.

Alot of the universal headers have both O2 bungs on them and you just plug up the one you don't use. Even if you have to put on in it will cost you like 20 bucks.
