Default Radiator Hose Temp

After driving on the highway I overheat at idle.

My top radiator hose is hot and the bottom is cold.

Is the thermostat stuck?

the bottom hose being cooler is normal. hot coolant comes for the top hose cools threw the radiatior and returns in the bottom hose. you may need a new thermastat or fan switch. i would go ahead and just replace the thermastat its cheap reapair just need new switch and some new coolant

The weird thing was that when it sky rocketed to H today the reserve tank filled to the top and a little fluid squirted out onto the intake. I ran the car around for a little bit about 3am and then let it run in the parking garage at idle for 5 mins and the temp never went up?
