ok if your hear to rag on obx- go the **** away

that said. I am runnin an obx lsd, and it feels GREAT man, it really gets the power to the ground and really saves my *** when it comes to traction!

But sometimes when im goin real slow and making a turn / feathering out the clutch, i hear like a clunk, doesnt happen often and only happens in slow slow turning scenario while feathering out of 1st.

I read a lil bit and this seems pretty normal for LSD, especially for a new one that hasnt been broken in yet.

I was just wondering if there are any other obx LSD users that experienced similar symptoms?

 

That seems to be normal behavior for LSDs. My miata has an LSD and has similiar clicks. The guys on the miataforum with LSDs express the same clicking sound.

but after seeing their turbo manifolds, i wouldnt touch anything OBX

I have a friend who runs an OBX LSD on his boosted GSR. 280 whp for 1 year now on the LSD and it's still doing great

 

i saw a side by side teardown of one. the obx one in question was a replica of the quaif (sp?) unit it was made to mimic. the only differance was that some of the bolts on the obx unit werent nearly as tight as they should have been. but that is really the fault of the 12yr old putting it together in china, and may not be the same for all the units.
