So out of frustration of my driver's side motor mount coming loose, i put Loctite on the bolts into the block. My lower bolt came loose, stripped the threads, then snapped the top bolt in the block. I tried an EZ out and the stud will not come out, basically, i want an aluminum mount to replace this that i can simply weld to my block.

 

get the specs and get one machined out of a block of aluminum.....aluminum isnt as strong as steel tho

 

I saw that Hasport's are aluminum after posting this, but they're too freakin' expensive. I guess i can try taking the piece to a machine shop and have them try to make something similar.

 

make sure u get it right.....i dont think u'd want ur engine dropping all of a sudden.....good luck bro

I tried taking the mount apart and i can't get it to unbolt, i kind of need a whole new mount anyway as it was broken and i just filled it with Urethane. I know there's companies other than HASport that makes mounts for Hondas, but i can't find them, a friend of mine bought one with aftermarket mounts that weren't by them. I just need an aluminum driver's side mount.
