Default HKS civic exhaust modified to fit CRX...Where to modify/cut it?

hey, i just recently purchased this , just calling on people who have modified the HKS exhaust for the EF CIVIC to fit on the CRX, the main reason is cuz i cant seem to find a dealer to sell me the HKS exhuast meant for the CRX, some of the dealers tell me they are distoninued...some say they wont have it for months and i cant wait....(i searched and all i could find out was that i needed to cut it...no reference as to exactly where)

so if you know what to cut/remove could someone be so kind enough to circle..thanks a lot!

well i reccomend you take off your existing exhaust off your CRX and begin to do measurements, mark key spots on with a sharpie, and cut, weld and install. Thats if you have the neccesary tools to do the job.

My other option is to get it done at a muffler shop, or if you got a hook up there they should get the job done fairly quickly and you will be grumbling down the street with your new exhaust system.....GL and take pics....

All you need to do is shorten up the pipe right behind the resonator. If you take your old exhaust off and lay it on top of the new one you will see how much you need to take out. Should just need to make 2 cuts and then weld it back together.

ive been told that in order to modify an Invida exhaust meant for a rex so that it will bolt up to a hatch you need to add 7" right behind the cat... this would lead me to believe that you need to take 7" off of the exhaust right behind the cat... but like everyone else said... make sure by sizing them up next to eachother... Good luck!!
