filled my car up with oil yesterday and nothing leaked. then when i started her up oil just started pouring out as if the bolt in the pan wasnt it, but it is. anyone have any ideas?

 

this happened to friend before kinda sounds dumb. are you sure when you put dipstick back in that you actually got it in the hole??? he missed the hole but it looked like it was in there and was leaking oil. just an idea

 

if you changed your oil you double gasketed the oil filter. easy fix just remove your oil filter and remove the gasket.

 

could be your oil pan gasket
