5-15hp

not much... either swap another motor or turbo/supercharge what you already have

why does everyone buy a bunch of stuff and then look for numbers? why not decide on a number you want to reachbefore you start buying stuff and research on how to reach your goal... then buy what you need!

good luck!

before the mods im adding i beat d16y8's like nothing.i think you guys are underestimating the power of a sohc. For the price of getting a swap i could build my single and rip on semi built b16's and maybe a gsr or two.i would be happy with these
results from a sohc.As soon as im done i'll dyno and post.

All the other guys were trying to say is that the money you spent on modding your sohc could have been spent on an LS swap (for instance). It would most likely cost the same and have similar power figures, but the sohc is already modded and the b18 is stock. You can't make too much more power with the sohc, whereas the b18 has TONS of potential. Not trying to flame, just explaining why it seems like everyone hates you.

I never could figure out why ppl stick with their single cam. Making power is actually cheaper with a swap. ....unless you build a turbo kit, in which case you can almost beat a stock gsr. wow

RyanCivic2000 made 135 WHP with 10:1 compression, a big zex cam, open exhaust, ported head, the works. You arn't going to be ripping on any semi built B16's or even a stock GSR.

Way to buy parts that won't work with a turbo kit, sweeeetttttt!!!!!!!!! People are not flaming this guy for no reason, these topics usually get locked quicker than MJ getting a boner at a playground. Honestly, like internet dyno-guesstimates are really a good thing. I vote for a ******* ban for such a shitty post.
