181whp from a k20a3
Think of it as the redheaded stepchild throwing a tantrum. I'm proud to say I'm the first tuner to break 180whp on a stock block, stock head casting k20a3 motor NATURALLY ASPIRATED!
The ultimate goal is to break 190whp with the k20a3 motor.

a3 is the si/base which is weaker than the types ones
u are right about the 200whp mark tho on type s
my bros 05 hit 208whp with toda raceheader,t1r exhuast, injen cai
with a 04
it also dynoed at 208whp
but our friend had
dc race header,injen cai,and hondata flash #4

You're thinking of the k20a2 motor. that makes 200 crank hp stock. I'm working with the k20a3, rated at 160hp at the crank from the factory.
The reason I'm pursuing this is b/c the k20a3 motor can be had for very little $$$ in many cases less than 1g for a long block.

it's a factory long block aside from the cams & valvetrain. I've never cracked the head or oilpan.
So that's 9.8:1 if you don't know the k-series compression numbers off hand.

I would love to. If you know of anyone in my area let me know! I need someone with k-pro. K-pro is a must for r&d.
