just took of the head after my motor started to blow alot of smoke
hey, well after a summer of boosting untuned and being and idiot is finally time for a rebuild. now it gives me an excuse to actually start saving money to new parts
my motor was running strong at 200psi all across on the b16a. now its
1-180
2-160
3-40spi
4-100
here is a pic of my car

here is a pic of the pistons

3rd and 4th piston

valves

headgasket

rocker arms

the sleeves dont look scratched so i guess ill just do pistons and rods. what about the valves? how do they look?

did you pull the head off without draining the coolant and thats why all 4 cylinders are full of coolant? or did the headgasket blow out on you?
gasket blew, and i tried draining all the coolant. im rebuilding everypart of it anyways so i dont really care

what plug?
what plug?
nevermind, im blind, i found it. the one to drain antifreeze. all i usually do is disconnect the lower rad hose
you should have the block bored/honed with new pistons and rings........if not atleast have the bores measured to see if they are out of round....which i bet they are.......

sweet......crank up the boost

I may be wrong, but if your head gasket was blown wouldn't that effect your compression numbers? You may still have a healthy bottom end and all you really need is a new head gasket. Maybe someone else may know for sure? Even so it doesn't hurt to strengthen the bottom end.
headgasket will blow white hence the coolant leaking through the gasket. also the compression number will decrease from one side to the other mean my loweset piston would either be 4 or 1. in this case mine was 3. also the motor will not smoke at idle, meaning think blue smoke from the valve cover. good thought though, it could have been the gasket but since one of my pistons is dramatically lower than the other im saying its going to be rings
