Does anyone know if the linkage from a B18A1 will work for a B-series swap in an EG? I thought I read somewhere that it does, but the shifter is about an inch closer to the firewall. Can anyone confirm this? The reason I'm asking is I want to get the motor in the car asap and I have a DA linkage laying around. I'm a little tight on money right now and would prefer to just use that until I get around to getting one from a DC.

why not just try it. youre going to wait regardless....

 

I need the car for commuting to work so I can't have it be without an engine for a week or more. I have a car to borrow in case I can't get it completed over a weekend, but I don't want to try it, find out it doesn't work, and then beg to borrow the car for another week to get to work.

 

then i would just get the GSR one.
