well to sum it all up, some guy hit my car in a parking lot and didn't even leave a note, just plain ran. nothing i can do now except fix it and install motion sensors so the next person that does this will get what's coming to them

it happened to me overnight at home...and the damage is bigger too...

 

A respray on the rear bumper shouldn't cost more than about $150. Something that small I wouldn't even worry about.

 

my car was also damage.

it was front-ended by my mom's CRV. i need a new fender and bumper, her cars has no marks

 

$300+ Dollars at a good shop. You may be able to find someone who will write the estimate it a little lower.

Who will? I sure as hell wouldn't bring any car with a decent finish there to be repaired.

 

oh comeon..i had hit and run at college parking lot. he scrap my paint about about 7inches on rear bumper.

 

macco can fix that up easily, probaby cost around 100 bc they quoted my whole integ for 300...

not trying to be mean but what will motion sensors do if you're not by the car? what will come to them? i mean if you're in the mall, someone hits your car, random people arent going to all rush him to get his info. he'll still run, you'll still have the mark, and you'll still not know about it until you come back out. even if you did have a pager alarm, range is cut almost in half if not more when walls are between you and the car.

just park out in the open.. thats what i always do, and nothings happend to me

that damage doesnt look that bad. I wouldn't worry about it enough to get the whole bumper repainted. I would use touchup paint and then wet sand and buff it out.
