sohc dizzy in dohc

Default sohc dizzy in dohc

i was wondering if a 95 civic ex dizzy will work as good as a b16 dizzy in a b16 head? I got a b16 motor without dizzy in it. got it practically free

d with d, h with h, b with b and so on. i think the only thing interchangeable are the throttle bodies. but dont quote me on that one.

I used a GSR throttle body on my EX motor

ok is there any way to tell which dizzy i got? because i got another one but the person who i got it from cut off one of the things where the screw goes through to hold the dizzy onto the head and only the top hole lines up.

one more thing i found a number on the dizzy and it is td-55u, if thats any help

if thats the case, then the dizzy might have been modified to fit whatever motor it was on. i don't know about you but i wouldnt want a modified dizzy. i suggest you just look around and call up local tuning shops to see if they have any b series dizzy laying around, thats what i did for the D and came up on a used one for $50

ok i think the one i got is from a ls, so will it work like it is supposed to or will i get lag/poor peformance?

LS wont fit on your B16 either. Also i dont think itll even work.

If you still have your B16 and it needs a rebuild then do it yourself. One of those dist. that you have gut them and put it in your B16.

the guy i got the motor from gave me the ls distributor he cut off one of the mounting hole thing(theone by the vtec soleniod) andopened the hole at the top so it wouldbolt up but the other hole doesnt line up
