D series swap question... manual vtec sohc to auto non vtec sohc
So here's the plan:
well heres what i'm doing: I'm taking the manual tranny off a 96 hx(vtec) and putting it on a 97 dx (auto) non vtec, and then dropping it in the hx. the 97 ecu is non vtec auto, and the 96 ecu is vtec manual. I have the full dx swap.. everything...so if i'm right i just need a manual non vtec sohc 96-98 ecu...any help?
