Code 43...What could it be?
Well I have a code 43 which is fuel supply system. Any idea why I would get this cell? The car runs abosolutly fine. I turn off the car and turn it backk on and the cel's gone. But it comes back every now and then. Anyone else have this code? How did you fix it?
Helms manual says if the CEL 43 comes on with poor driveablity, then there is a problem with the fuel system.
Since you didnt mention you had any driveability problems, check for loose connections or breaks in the wires, especially around the o2 sensor.
I have the same problem. It comes on, i restart the car, it goes away. The car drives perfectly fine if the light stays on.

I'm gonna go try that right now! It didn't start happening till I filled up the tank for the first time. I haven't had th car on the road for very long. And I drove it all the way home from Cleveland, OH with no problems or CELs

I just tightend the cap and cleared the CEL...so we'll see. Come to think of it, my ex-girlfriend left my gas cap at the gas station once and I didn't have one for the longest time and never got a CEL...so I don't think that's the problem...
Most of you guys having this problem...do your cars have swaps? I'm starting to think its a wiring issue or a loose connection somewhere...because the car drives fine...ut I'm super picky and just want piece of mind

Check your o2 sensors. I had my CEL 43, replaced the the o2, and bam, ran like a charm. If you search around, like I did, most say to check the o2 first.

Yeah I'm gonna check everything tomorrow. The car runs fine. It's just the CEL that bothers me...so I'd like to figure out what it is. Thanks I'll check the O2 tomorrow
