Taking Green Tint off top of Windshield

Guys, I bought a 96 dx. It has that section of green tint on top of the wind shield. I think it came like that and is not a film. Has anyone successfully removed this? The color really clashes.

BTW, is it stock like that? or is this an aftermarket windshield?

yeah man, its stock. its tinted into the window glass.

If it's the stock tint I am thinking it is then it is impossible to remove. It's actually the plastic laminate in the centre of the glass that is tinted.

Sorry brother....no dice on rememoving that one.

get a black tint strip put over it, and you won't have to worry about the color anymore.
