help with 1 wire
Wired up the 97 civic dx wiring to the b18b and the clip for the alt. on the b18b was 3 wires, and on the civic harness it was 4 wires. The three matched up in color, but what about this last one(still have it hooked to the connector) it is white with a green stripe.

hmm...thats weird...I didnt have to touch my alternator sensor...maybe u have an older alternator like obd ..if there is a difference...what were the other wire colors?
The engine harness that came with the b18b had the right clip for the alt. witch was the 3 wire clip. The civic clip was 4 wire clip. What did your clip look like. Was it 3 wires or 4. I have a 97 civic dx. The engine came from canada if that makes a difference. If it was a later alt. then the stock integra harness wouldn't have the right clip right??? Thanks for all the replys.
It being from Canada actually does make a difference. I had a friend that ran into the same problem. From what I know, he just switched out the alternator to USMD spec..
Yes, I just check my bro's teg and it has a 4 wire clip. I guess its because its canadian. Does anyone know the difference? Why would this alt only have three wires?
