Default JDM Type R Headlights.....

http://www.jdmcarboy.com/4-11.jpg

Are these headlights really JDM Type R? Cause other sites I have found sell these for 450 to 500 dollars, but this sit says 130 shipped. Is this right? Thanks

Those are not REAL JDM Stanley lights. They are Replicas.

Well would it be bad to get replicas? Cause I really like the Smoked Chrome look of them. I think it would go good with my car.

I aint asking for if I should get them or not cause it will look good. I am asking if the replicas would be the same as authetic parts? Are these worth paying 130 for or should I spend a little more for the real thing?

That all depends on you... If you have the money to blow on real ones, and you would rather have real, then buy real. I bought a friend of mine replicas for his 96 and they look almost Identical to real, but that doesn't mean those will. Me personally had the authentic ctr lights, sold them(cause I was gonna sell the car) then bought another set of authentic ones.

yeah, you can get used ones for about $300 and new for about $400+. Just depends where. Do a search here, I'm pretty sure you can find someone willing to let them go for cheap.

Cool I will look around here for a while. But if not I may just go with the replicas, cause I wanna save some money for my motor. The more I save the more I can build. Thanks

wouldn't smoked chrome and gunmetal be kinda similar? I don't remember, they were purchased back in 2003, I just know they look damn close to the authentic.

See I love the Replicas that are Gunmetal, and it is 130 bucks lol. So the extra 300 I save I could put to my motor wouldnt get far but hey every little bit counts in the end. But I really would like to real thing still. Cant go wrong with something authetic.

out of the ones they have, the gunmetal would be closet to the real deal, I didn't see the smoked chrome you were referring to.
