I know this is a pretty dumb thing, but I bought the car already built for turbo, and I don't have the budget for a turbo kit, so is it even possible to make some decent power with some bolt ons? I know it would be a better idea to open up the motor and just put some ctr pistons or something, but I've never done internal work.
specs of the motor:
2.0L b18c1
port and polished head
low comp pistons, 9:1
crower rods
benson sleeved
etc, crap I can't think of right now
And what kind of #s should I be expecting to make?

well the ctr pistons are out of the question since your bore is at 84mm. ctr pistons 81/ 81.5.
you have one killer motor setup for any fi application. The motor should have no problems taking 150+ direct port. Or if your really on a budget you can spray with a regular wet system at the intake. just remember the key is to tune everything.

spray the **** out of it, boost it or change your pistons. there ain't no way in hell you're going to make big power N/A on that compression.

youll make some top end power but seriouly you would just waste more money trying to reverse what you bought. to you best investment is BOOST i dont know how much money you have but you need to think about buying a FULL RACE KIT. OR A PEAKBOOST KIT> and then all you would have to buy is some RC injectors at least 550cc. and a 250lph fuel pump. dont throw away an opertunnity like this because you want to make power now when you know you can make 400+ to the wheels in the future. on that same setup ive seen people boost 18 to19 psi and run tens in the 1/4.
you sound like you're in the same predicament as a friend of mine.... he's stuck on being all motor though.... when you think about.. if you wanna stay all motor you'll need to take off the head, buy new pistons, have them put in, get a new gasket and then put the head back on.... it might be too much of a hassle and you have that downtime, but if you decide to go turbo, just save up, put it on and tune it....easy 12's
