what should I do about my exhaust?
I have a '93 prelude vtec. My exhuast on my car is made by Trust, and i think its about 2.25" from the cat back. Pretty much the whole thing is rusted, and where the pipe bends there are small holes. Also, the tip is broken off and it looks kinda ghetto when you drive behind me.
Do you think i should get a new exhuast? I was thinking like a 2.25 or 2.5" by greddy or apexi ws. I heard that trust was rare, but i dont know.
oh, and i have a header that doesnt bolt up to my cat converter. Should i buy a hi-flow cat?

Couldn't hurt....got my 2.5" Magnaflow for $104 shipped from eBay.
EDIT: I believe the stock exhaust for the vtec models are 2.5" (H23 = 2.25"), so I would say go with the 2.5". Depending on how long your muffler is kinda limits how big you can go b/c it's hard to bend the larger pipes around the rear axle/suspension.

thanks for the quick replies.
Jordon: I dont want to get another header because this one that i have replaced my stock one. The one i have now is "JDM" lol, from a prelude in japan and the downpipe is bigger than stock, so the flange bolts dont meet up.

I think you should get an exhaust before it gets any worse, I have the apexi ws on my lude its quite, but the mid pipe hangs low. Greddy's not a bad choice either never owned any greddy exhaust though, but they sound pretty good not loud.
And for the last question, what do you mean your header doen't bolt up to you cat? Is it short? Too long? Different bolt pattern?

the bolts on the downpipe are bigger than the cat.
yeah i think i need a cat that has a 2.5" inlet, but what about outlet? 2.5" again if i were to get the ws2? I mainly just want everything to bolt up flush.

ummm....is that a rhetorical question?
Yeah, get a new one. Greddy EVO. Spend the money on a good SS exhaust and it's worth it.
