Default How would this turbo fair on a b16(pulsar T28)

Taken from cheapturbo.com,

Factory Nissan Pulsar GTiR T28

Dual Ball-Bearing

TURBINE SPECS: T28

.86 A/R Housing

79 Trim Wheel

COMPRESSOR SPECS: T3

.60 A/R Housing

60 Trim Wheel

Compressor Flow: 33 LB/MIN

internal wastegate included

How do you guys feel about this turbo?

My goals are 270-300whp with quick spool and hold strong to redline.

no one? I searched. Almost everything was for the smaller t28s.

Search for my created posts... It may help.
Anyway, I've used one on a B20 with cams, Skunk2 IM, etc...
210whp and 190 tq at a measley 6 psi.
I had 175lbft by 3500. Sick. This was in a CRX.

Anyway, I think that would be a great turbo for a B16, and I would expect even higher numbers than mine at the same pressure.
If done properly.
Be aware, deviating from the "normal" T3 hot-side route opens the door for alot of headaches and trouble finding stuff that fits.
Feel free to pm with specific questions.

its a good turbo for up too 300 hp, a friend of mine has a gtir, and his w/ intake, 3" exhaust, front mount, and greddy emanage made 320 hp at 14 psi.. this is on a 2.0.. but it would work really well for a low hp b16, very fast spool too

the gtir t28 is probably the better choice of any t28 just because it has a 79 tirm turbine as compared to the s14 64 trim.

and the t25 flanged manifold will work fine, the with a stock gtir turbo you would need an adapter like this for the compressor housing inlet http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...e=FLA as well as a 3 bolt compressor outlet flange

So you think 300whp is attainable with this turbo on a b16?

Yes they make about that on sr20 and that rwhp so should make 300fwhp quite easily.
