Im new to motorcycles and have been noticing that my 03 r6 clicks alot. it sounds like injectors or something. Im not too sure if its normal or if there is some thing wrong. If anyone has an idea about this please let me know. i hope it is normal.

I have an 05 R6 that i bought new. I also noticed a ticking sound at various rpms. I did alot of research, and it sounds like basicly its the valvetrain and yamahas are infamous for it. Nothing wrong with it, just vavles clicking or something like that.

Yeh same thing on my 04...its valvetrain noise, its an engine, they do make noise, don't worry about it, unless its gettign really loud or causing engine problems.

 

No dont have any problems just wanted to be sure that there wasnt anything wrong with it. Thanks for the info.
