Painting stuff flat black?
What are the steps to take if i wanted to paint anything flat black? I got a pair of stock civic sideskirts that are a little dirty and marked up and i would like to re paint them in flat black, would i just clean them off and get a can of flat black spray paint?
one trick that i have learned is to use black epoxy primer.
Not only does it sheen water better than aerosol black paint,
it serves a durable satin finish unlike traditional primer that
acts like a sponge and soaks up moisture and dirt.

you make it sound hard man...
go to walmart, kmart, home depot, your favorite spray paint supply store.
find trim paint (by duplicolor) or some other semi-flat black paint...
use soap and water to remove dirt and oil from the side skirts...
after theyre all dried, apply the paint.
follow the instructions on the can on how long to wait for another coat, etc...
good luck.
