hi. i just bought a 91 crx. its already got the usual intake exhaust combo,a rear strut tower bar , and dropped. the motor is a 16valve shoc,d15 i belive,not the most hi performance **** on the planet but it pulls pretty good to me. i dont know much about hondas. and going through the gears i realised it is a six speed is this normal?? any feedback is appreciated thanks.

i know it sounds retarded and i sat in it for 10 minutes going through all six gears just to make sure i wasnt carzy. i even got to 6th when i was driving it didnt down shift like i was just putting it back in 4th like i thought i was doing.i just went in the garage and went through all the gears again and i still dont belive this myself. its like this i just had my sister check it out and she said the same thing . if there is anything you could think of please let me know. its like this----

ive never heard of one like what you are describing. and to get it into reverse you would have to push down on the shift **** and put it into reverse. its not a k series tranny with adapter either because you would have 6 reverse gears.

Take a pic of the engine and tranny for us. Maybe you have the "K series" engine?

kidding aside could it be someone somehow stuck a 6spd of the wagon on his ?

 

But on those, 1st gear is way to the left, and it's really short, like 10mph. Also, I think the AWD parts are built in, so it would have a driveshaft mount spinning away under the car. Could be wrong on that, not like any of us see many AWD Civics.

i am not bull shitting i been reading stuff on this forum for awhile now, ijust never bothered to register because i didnt own a honda. the car has a six speed. if the wagon has six gears then mabyee thats what happened. i dont have a damn cluewhy it has six gears but it does.and **** if any of yall live in vegas you more than welcome to come to my pad.**** i aint got nothin to hide. im dead seirous.i dont know if you can pm me or something but if you in vegas ill give you my phone number man.and by the way what the hell would i have to gain by messing with some people on a computer. i work 10 hours a day and i can hardly use a computer as is.
