My ignition in my 88 Civic hatch seems to be a bit screwed up. I can turn the car on, but when i let the key go it shuts off. Is there any way to fix this or do i need to replace the key ignition thing? i dont know much about cars, so i hope you guys can help me.

check the contacts on the ignition switch, they could be corroded
