Compression tested teh b17 just now, here are my results:
1 - 150psi
2 - 142psi
3 - 150psi
4 - 150psi
think she looks pretty healthy- is that 8psi difference on cyl 2 anything to worry about or is that normal for them to vary a little?
Thanks!

the numbers really are not that great, its good that there close together but as far as the number itself there pretty low.

Compression number results are very comparable from different motors and climates too.
I can get a 30 psi difference on my car just based on how long it cranks, what the weather is like, and how hot the car is. I typically don't even try and compare compression numbers between cars unless somebody has a 12:1 motor pushing 160, or something crazy like that.

compression looks good
like ppl said before you really cant compare compression numbers. as long as all 4 cylinders are about the same then your good
my old stock b16 only had 160psi in all 4.
my all motor 11.4cr lsvtec has only 220psi. if i put stock cams in it would jump to 250+psi due to less overlap

is that freshly rebuilt. cuz if it is, those are nice numbers. my 10.5:1 LS/VTEC was only 155 across the board, freshly built, now its probably closer to 170-180 but yes, those numbers are definately acceptable...good luck with her in the future...
