Default radiator flush

I have a 98 SH and was gona do a radiator flush. Does anyone have a step by step way to do this specifically on a 98 lude, I dont think theres any difference with the SH for this. I have heard some bad things about certain antifreeze/coolants, are there any that I should stay away from?

just drain the radiator, and use DISTILLED water, not faucet water...then just add oem coolant which is pre mixed. otherwise, i just used prestone and whatever i find at autozone, and mix it myself. but yeah, distilled water

Distilled water doesn't have all of the additives and "floaties" in it that tap water does.

....and that just reminds me that I used regular water when I flushed my system last week.

use distilled water for what? and by "floaties" do you mean minerals, such as iron? and what do these harmful "floaties" do to damage your cooling system? the way i flush the cooling system is to disconnect the top and bottom radiator hoses and slowly blow compressed air in the top line so that you get the engine block and heater core coolant out. theres no wrong coolant to use. i actually stay away from the "lifetime" coolants because they give you the idea that you never have to flush it again. i would recommend flushing it every other year no matter what coolant you have because of the dissimilar metals turning the coolant acidic and rotting your heater core and spending 3 days tearing your dash apart to put another one in and the having extra screws at the end and not knowing where they go or if their important....srry i'm rambling

**** in your water = build-up of sediment in coolant system.

Anything that can build up in your coolant system can/will cause blockages or reduce the rate of coolant flow in your engine.

Also, sediment in water (or water-based liquids) will lower your boiling point. I'd explain, but it takes too long.
