Default There are supposed to be nuts here right?

I just noticed this today. I bought this from a guy who had a strut bar on it so i figure if there are supposed to be nuts on these bolts it is because he took it off and didn't put the nuts back. If there are what size are they and what do I torque them at. Thanks

yeah, i've had the car for like 4 months now. its passed inspection and been at the honda dealership for a pre-buy inspection, etc. and no one noticed it. i'm pretty lucky i still have a car to drive and not a heap of metal.

Wow.. well maybe you shouldn't go back to that dealer. I would refrain from driving your car until you get those nuts, not too safe.

I've also bought a few modified cars in the past. It amazes me what idiots can do to a car.

Good Luck

Jeysus, those are the nuts for the top A-frame/Wishbone. I am very surprised it has not fallen through.

I think they are to the spring/damper assembly, not the upper A arm. The third nut is probably on (not visible in the pic), and it's not likely to fall out because there is nearly always spring pressure; there really should be 3 nuts on it though...

If you're a torque spec person like my friend is, tighten them to 28 foot pounds.
