Default b18b with b16 pistons

What else besides the pistons would i need to change to do this, also what should i do with the ecu once this is done, what else should i do while im in there, and lastly what power gains can i expect. Its my DD so nothing crazy please. thanks appreciate all help.

You'll need rings and rod bearings. It's a good idea to install ARP rod bolts and have the big end's resized. Make sure to hone the block before reassembly.

Also, while the head is off, go ahead and do whatever headwork (if any) you have plans for.

HONING removes minimal material replacing the cross-hatch to the cylinder for a good ring seal, BORING requires oversized pistons. Your cylinders need to be examined to know which is required.

ok that's cool thanks for that bit of knowledge, any body know a good shop to get a block honed in the Pomona (so. cal.) areas? will used pistons be okay if they are in good shape?

First diassembly your engine to make sure you dont have finger nail catching gashes in any of the cylinders..if so your gonna have to buy .25 over pistons..

Dont waist your money on used pistons unless they're already on the rods your gonna use,if not just buy new ones complete with oe rings..
