What material are they made out of? Also does anyone know where i can get a pair? Im looking for a friend...

i think its that alacantara suede that usdm seats, and jdm recaros use...those canadian seats IMO are nicer than USDM and JDM ones... nothing cooler than OEM red seating...

USDM black, CDM black, CDM red all made the same, just different color.

 

actually b4 i bought my ITR i thought those red seats are ugly as hell, and i almost trade it with GSR seats(leather), but so glad my friend bitch at me and told me if i ever wanna flying all over in my car while i'm doing lapping then trade it.(coz we all kknow leather seats are slipperin. but now i love my seats coz after all only 2001 model has it.

 

So you guys actually like the Canadian Red TypeR seat? I think I should ask my friends to see if they want to sell it and make some money!!

 

If you guy's are really interested, I can check out my local dealer and see if he

can price out just the covers ( and headrests )... With your exchange on the dollar,

you guy's can probably get the whole ball of wax for next to nothing..

Then you can switch the fabric and keep your old stuff incase anyone wants to

buy your ' stock ' R

 

I think those seats are ugly as hell. I personally don't like red seats in a car. I rather have the US ITR, or the JDM black recaros with red stiching. Plus your car wont stick out like a sore thumb.

 

well everyone has different taste. but since ITR badge is red why not have red=hot seats lol just personal opions

it isn't going to be cheap. i had a friend with a civic who wants our seats so he went to the acura parts department to have it priced out. for both front seats it came to like $5000 CAD for all the individual parts.
I didn't believe it at first, but I needed to replace the cloth cover on the bottom seat on my passenger side and that piece alone was $400+.

 

The Canadian CW seats look really Gay!!!

it's for the complete seats from the brackets to the headrest.

 

I think the red seats are pretty ugly. I'd rather have the USDM seats anyday.

those canadian seats are sweet as hell. Why does honda treat american's different than canadians. Are we just not good enough?

 

Those red seats in the 2001 Type R's still doesn't make up for the fact that we never got black R's in Canada and yellow only in 2000. If anything I think Americans got more than us Canadians did.

 

I guess it depends on what you want. I really wanted a white Type R in 2000. I settled for yellow.
