Default need help on how to install oil temp and press gauge...???

on the oil temp can i put it into the oil drain hole??? will the sender piece fit??? or do i have to redrill a new hole??? and how do i install the oil press? is there a good site to find out how to install??? i went to autometer but they dont tell u where to hook it up too?? i have a 94 gsr... and there both electrical gauges...

I used a brass "t" to tap my stock oil pressure switch on the back of the block for the oil pressure.
As for oil temp, I am not sure where you would tap for that. The back of the head, the pan...?

you can put it in the oil pan... you will have to tap it with 1/8 NPT tap for autometer guage... and make sure to seal it.. also make sure that it is submerged in oil that is being used ... so it has to be low enough...

if you install an remote oil filter... some of them come with a tap already for an oil temp guage...

I object to this, don't do it. Go the way that needs no alteration of stock parts.

Find the other threads (In the integra forum) similar to this and you'll see how to do it. The good ones are probably archived by now.

The link to the image is no longer available. It's the same B/W one that shows the engine block connecting with an adapater to the NPT oil fittings and then the oil pressure sender using an adapter to connect to the brass Tee.
