Hey guys I'm looking at the Password Sir front lip. I have read that it will fit the USDM front but you have to trim it a little. I was wondering if anyone has pics of what has to be trimmed..

Not to bring back an old thread but, I just got my Fiberglass SiR lip from password to try to make fit on my USDM 88 Si. I had to trim off the inserts that fit into the opening under the JDM fog lights and it still wont fit
!!! The bumper its self is too short and to straight to make the curve of my bumper.
Anyone got any ideas????

ditto... password told me they only work on 90-91 front ends.
For all the people that trimmed the portion that extends into the foglight area, how much did you have to trim, easy job?

I'm going to make it work!!!
I am going to glass in a thin peice of aluminum where the lip fits into the bumper opening and at the ends. Then I am going to have to use counter sunk hex head bolts in those areas with washers and locknut on the other side. Oh yeah and a good amount of the double sided foam tape used to hold on side moldings!!!
I had to cut the area under the JDM fog lights right up to the vertical section of the lip. Also I had to cut the bottom at the corners so it would flex alittle more to wrap around the bumper with less strain on the bolt that will hold it on at the wheel well.
I hope to work on this on Sunday and I should have picks when its finished.
