power wire under drivers side (98 prelude)
hooking up an autometer, i need to find a power source to splice into, but i dnt want to take my deck apart to get the cigarrette lighter, is there one around the bottom of the driver side? i see alot of wires... a big thick red one which is what im thinking to splice into, but more advice would be much appreciated... thanks.
On your fuse box there are "free pins" you will find a 12V+ constant, acc., 2nd ign., and an illumination, [park lights, not dimmer controlled]

i have a couple wires from wiring diagrams i have for you
12V+ constant is a very thick gauge wire coming from your ignition running with several other wires in your car by drivers kick as well look underneath yoru steering wheel youll see it. also for your parkign light.
its located in a white plug just behind your cruise control switch. the color of the wire is red with a black stripe. and its a + when on cable. if you need any other wire info let me know. take it easy man.
