my setup is jdm d15b vtec with aem air intake and direc fit magnaflow cat it has same headers and downpipe as d16z6 4-2-1. i want to get a cat back 2.25" but i don't want to upgrade the headers is it ok wil that work?

 

yes, it will work using a flange.. however don't worry about that just take it to a muffler shop they'll get it going for you. i shall warn you thou, you wont see any increase with that setup, catbacking off of your stock header that is a inch a some, flaring out to a 2.25" pipe, you will get a nice deeper tone thou, it's what i've done until i can get my swap done, hope this helps.

 

thanks but i don't belive that i won't be getting at least a slight 2hp. after all the flow will be increased in the exhaust pipes anywhay it just temporary. i am prety sure i will get perfformance header later on it just for now. any cutting or welding will have to be made on the catback or will they put the right flange?
