Default what's the best option?

it's almost time for a new timing belt, so my question is...is a stock timing belt sufficent for a itr with i/h/e vafc2 tuning and a lighten flywheel?

would a toda timing belt be an over kill? is there pros and cons of this?

pleaes keep in mind that within the next 100,000kms i wold be up grading to toda b package.

or would it be better to get a stock timing belt for now, and get the timing belt when the time comes?

thx in advance!

Stock timing belts are great, especially for stock valvetrain.

thx for the replies guys although i have mixed feelings about it!

i think stock timing belt is fine until i go toda b

one last question, if my stock injectors needs replacing would be a good idea to get a larger cc? i.e. 290cc

i then would have to retune again won't i?

thx again

Before you go to the stealership, I have a used one with 5k miles on it. Mint condition, no frays, cracks or miscoloring. Stored properly. If you want it send me an IM.

Stock belt is fine with Skunk Stage 2's, Pro 2's, and Toda 'C's. This from personal experience. Proper tension is the key

.....just get brando's belt.

The injector issue: get 290cc (98+ prelude injectors) or 310cc saturated injectors... These are the biggest the obd2 ecu can accommodate.

You can actually go with 450cc or so if you like - even 550cc would be good as theft prevention should you remove your ecu... and saturated seem to be able to idle a bit better... But you'll need a programmable ecu for this (obd1).
