Default b18c-r with buddy club specIV

i have a jdm b18c-r and am getting a really good deal on some bc4's = buddy club 4's , and was wondering if its to big of a cam for my motor , some one help me i need to get my car done before oct 9 and 10th ..

oh im a newb and i searched

they will work fine, but your going to need springs, ti retainers, engine management, a good header and exhaust and a good tune if you want to run them

if rather run bc3 + than bc4's.. just look at what compression he has now

get spec 3 +'s, I've rode in an LS/VTEC equipped with those, and even with it running rich it broke loose in third(due in part to the rest of the NA setup but it was a nice spike in power when the crossover point was reached.

and yes, upgrade your valvetrain if you end up diong anything over like a stage 2 camshaft.

spike? sorry but there shouldnt be a "spike" at vtec x-over

i just ordered my spec III"S .. just curious my stock jdm itr valve train wouldnt handle bc4's?

im running with crome for management
stock jdm itr headers and omni 2.5 test pipe
and running open header at the track

What did you pay? If you paid more than $500 shipped you paid too much.



My other components are for sale if you need to upgrade your valve train.
