will a b series trannie fit on a d series engine a buddy of mone wanted to know i told him no but he wants to see the answers for him self

Sure it can, you need a funky clutch...most likely completely custom because the spines are different on the tranny's. And you need a plate made for the bellhousing, because there is no way it's going to bolt together.

I've seen weird *** **** like this done before, moreso with toyota's and lexus'....I recall 4 litre v8 with a supra 6 speed tranny...lots of custom work on that one, but it was a very nice NA soarer.

It's possible, it will cost you a lot of money, and it's def not worth it. Swap to a B series motor is a tranny means that much to you.
