I'm stumped.
I have a 98 y7 motor with a z6 intake manifold on it. I'm using the y7 throttle body, z6 IACV wired up as well.
Everything with the swap went well, but when i started it up and it sits at 2000rpms. Once i tap the gas, it goes down to about 800rpms and then right back up to 2000rpms and no CEL lights. It felt like it was warming up to 2000 rpms and sitting there.
As soon as i pushed the gas, it would dive down to around 800rpms (normal idle) and then shoot right back up to 2000.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think you either have a vacuum leak or the gasket you are using for the swap is wrong. my friend put a type r manifold on his b16 with the factory b16 throttle body. with will fluxuate in idle from 700 to bout 1500 rpm. the problem turn out to be a wrong throttle body gasket.. it seem really simliar to ur problem.. that might be a good place to start..

Yeah, I was wondering if anyone else did this swap and what throttle body they used. I'm going to take it off today (hopefully) so I will update this then. Anyone else?

just got to iron out the possibilities one by one. save the idle screw for last though, thats the bandaid fix.
