So im going to build a race car
Ive decided that it will be better off in the long run to have a daily driver and a race car. Ive decided on a CRX and im looking for suggestions as to what i should look for and what to buy. I plan on starting off simple, most likely keeping the stock motor for a season, so go from there. Im put my future race car in your hands, hook me up.
Buy a pre-built one. You will save much money. Go ahead, ask me how I know.

One of the baddest ITA CRXs in the country is here in Atlanta and is for sale for $9900. It cost over $20K to build.
That's another thing about building a race car. The rule of thumb is that you can't sell them for any more than about 1/2 what you spent to build 'em.
I could probably sell mine for about $15 to $17K. You do the math to figure out what I have in it.

Like Scott said (Catch22)...DON'T BUILD A CAR. You can get more car, and save money if you buy a pre-built one...plus most of the kinks are worked out when you buy it. Plus with the money you save, you can afford to have the engine rebuilt to make if fast as Shiznit. Trust me...I'll know in December...just counting down the days..........

Buy a car! Even if you like working on them... trust me, there will still be plenty to do on it.
