Default Clearance with stock fan and RMF Narrow header

Just got the RMF Narrow style header and had a question with fitment issues. I wanted to know if anyone had problems. I have the stock fans in the car right now. It doesn't look like there will be a problem with the A/C fan but the radiator fan is the question. I don't think I'll have problems with the header actually touching the fan, but the shroud looks like it will be in the way. If anyone has any info please post it up Also, it is a ceramic header but if the header fits, im just worried about the fan/shroud melting now....

Trim it. As long as the #4 primary doesn't get into the fan blades' path, it'll be just fine.

Be carefull with those autozone fans. I bought one and it stopped working after about 4 to 5 months. Car started getting hot at idle.

But I don't think it will melt the shroad. And you said the header was ceramic so thats even better for controlling heat.

If you need to, you can wrap the section of header that's closest to the fan. That's what I did on my header. But, even without it, I never had any problems with the fan being too close to the heat. I was more concerned about the clutch slave cylinder.

JDM I installed the rmf narrow on my itr 4 days ago.

Excuse me for my bad english but i'll try to help you.

You will not have any problem whit the stock fan, you have only to leave it in order to install the header. I removed some plastic from the fan chassis in order to avoid the header scratch.
The hader will only melt a little bit the fan chassis but not the blades. After the melting pay attention to the melted plastic and remove it with a cutter. Check the moving/path of the blades , on my esperience the melted plastic stopped the fan ( but it is easy to remove).
