BG Sport Springs
Hey guys just wondering if anyone has used these springs with some tokico illuminas or anything of that sort the drop is 1.5 front and rear so i am considering these since the roads are not the best here and i can get them for $175 through one of the local speed shops and also is $120 good for tokico illuminas a piece?
B+G makes an excellent product -never used their springs on my Lude though.
By the way, go to shox.com
You can get Koni Yellows and B+G springs for $685. I know that Koni's ship free so I think all you have to pay for is shipping on the springs (worth a call - their shipping is usually very reasonable). The Koni/H+R setup is a great setup and that sells for $645.
The setup you just listed would cost $655
. You'd be crazy not to step up to the Koni Sports

Just outa curiosity do you happen to know if the koni and hr setup on that site listed are the HR's the sport or race springs?
By the way will the konis last a lot longer than the tokicos i would imagine they would but durability is a major issue being this is my daily driver and all.
Which would be better the koni and HR's or the BG springs?

Konis have a reputation for lasting for a long time. They have a lifetime warranty, so if/when they do wear out, you can get them rebuilt by Koni for only the cost of shipping. I'm not sure what Tokico's warranty is.
I've heard a lot of good things about Koni/HR as a street setup - its a pretty popular setup for Preludes. Like I said, B+G makes a good product but I can't say for sure how they'll ride compared to the H+R. Probably very similar.
You should give a quick phone call to each company and see if you can get any information on spring rates. Both may be progressive rate though - I can't remember off the top of my head. I personally prefer linear rate springs

i have the B&G springs right now, and they feel pretty close to the H&R sport springs. i have them on some tokico blues, and they ride really nice. a little stiffer than stock, but turn in is WAY better than stock. anyways...they're pretty comparable to the H&R sports.
