so i posted this on the audio board but haven't gotten any help so far. i'm hoping that you integra board H/T guys might be able to help me out.
So here it is folks, i purchased a factory CD Changer off of ebay, i've got the wire roughted through the center console and so on. it's all ready to go but am i missing something? yes i can't figure out a good way to mount the thing to the interior. i have the brackets that are connected to the CD Changer but there isn't a flat piece of molding to mount it to. i don't want to drill into the body of the car for fear of hitting the gas tank. i went to the dealership and the guys there said that there were mounting bolts already in every car, the only one i see is about a 17mm and there is only one. the only thing i can think of that i'm missing is a mounting plate/bracket that mounts to the car somehow and then mounts to the brackets on the cd changer? so i guess what i'm getting at is if there is anyone out there who has ever had any experience with one of these cd changers i need your help. thanks in advance for any input.

 

swing by the parts deparment at your local acura dealer and have them bring up the view of the CD changer on the computer screen it should list the parts/brakets/bolts needed to mount that changer.

 

Definatly a good idea. You need the bracket that goes in the trunk right at the trunk light. It's an easy install... all the holes are there. Just need the bracket that goes in the trunk if you don't have it already.
