yeah i built this motor a couple years back.....i used the following

90 model prelude crank with the rod journals turned down to a bseries rod journal "b16"

b16 rods and b16a pistons.....but they were sticking out the deck .015 to .020

i also used all oem yellow honda rod bearings"got lucky i guess"

and for the thrust washers.i used a brass jeep bearing.i cain't remember for the life of me the part #.

i also had to notch the bottom of each cylinder for the rods to clear.i also had to
notch some places on the girdle...which will be self explanatory when you put the crank in.r/s is not good at all.it was 1.41......but for all motor this car would bark 4th @90 w/just a stage 3 cm clutch.

i was talking to jeremny L. and was asking to help me figure the compression.
when it was said and done it was around 13:5:1 to 13:8:1......when i checked
the compression it peg the gauge....which i thought was tore up.but found out later it wasn't.

this motor only lasted like 3 weeks.....but it was a fun 3 weeks.the ring lands gave and.i just pulled the motor and put it on the shelf.....only thing wrong w/the motor
was when i took out the pistons and rods.......the ring lands fell off like peeling a banana.

your welcome......i don't suggest doing stock pistons tho..the motor will not last very long at all.you can get forged pistons and move the pin up to make up for the difference it was out of the block.and also have the wrist pin off set to to help w/side load.

glad i could help?
