on colder days when the car is cold , do you get low vacuum?
when i park the car in the afternoon at like 7 or 8pm.....ill go out to the car at 545am and start the car , it ill start but will pull real low vacuum like -12 , it gradually gets better as it gets warmer but the car has to be driven quite a while to be back to normal.....anyone else experience this?
it will eventually go to -20 at idel , but its wierd when its warming up from being cold , it will pull some real low vac....
my vacuum has been changing slightly recently as well...what are you guys pulling normally? I had been pulling about 23 inches or so at idle, now its around 21....i'll start paying more attention to it and check back...
well when I start my car and it idles at 1,500+ then I get low vaccum like 21-22, but once warmed up it's around 18-20. I think it's normal only because of the higher revs at idle due to the cold start and not so much the cold "air"

The fact that the forged pistons are more contracted (smaller) than factory ones until the engine warms up may have something to do with it, but I doubt it. My best guess is that the iacv is just letting quite a bit of air in to let it idle higher to warm up (ie choke). This is equivalent to opening the throttle slightly, which would lower the vacuum.
