more torque!
i got a 98 prelude and i want to get some more torque so i can get from 1 rpm to 4 alot quicker. i could get a v-tec controller but i want to know if theres anything else! any one know of anything?
ahahahahah rofl, dude, u got a honda, please don't expect to having tons of torque, and i'm hoping at no point in driving you need to go from 1 rpm to 4 rpms, your engine would no be running

dude the question ur askin is way too general. a vtec controller will do relatively little to give u torque in the rpm range ur lookin for. wat mgags7 means is to bore ur cyclinders out to increase the displacement of ur engine ie. make ur engine bigger inside. that will def give u more torque but this requires a lot of internal engine work that (no offence) u seem to kno nothing about. keep ur goals basic and start with the very little things first. it's the only way to learn about cars. cars are a lot more complex than just putting on rims and pushing the gas to go "vroom". if u are looking for more performance do searches for "cold air intake", "headers", "exhaust". thats where u should start. u don't just add torque to an engine. unfortunately ur gonna need major mods to ur engine to get better torque in that rpm range ie. turbo, supercharger, and/or nitrous. especially in a four cyclinder engine which by nature are usually torque-less engines. but please do not even think about those things until u have learned quite a bit about the basics that i mentioned earlier
