Getting weird sound from tranny????HELP!!
Okay, so every time I let off the clutch this weird wining / squeaking sound comes from the tranny. The transmission feels good and shifts well. But the sound coming from it doesn't sound good at all. Does anybody have a clue to what it could be???

No joke, before my brothers tranny went, it was making a whining noise, and 2 days later, his tranny went. He had an automatic, and im not sure if it was slipping. I would advise to go have it looked at.
