Default Gas Smell in Cabin

After running the car for about 10 mins or so a gas odor becomes present within the cab. Especially so if the windows are up. I can not trace this down anywhere. I have visually check the lines from the firewal>filter>fuel rail>back to firewall and I dont see any signs. When I move the car I do not see anysigns of a leak either. Any ideas on what might be causing this or where to look?

1994 Honda Civic DX EH2 Hatchback
d15b7 185k
Fuel Filter needs to be replaced (has not been done in about 70k)
Plugs were changed about 20k back
Oil was changed about 2.5k back
Odor is espically strong in the hatch part, as in between back seates and tailgate. From Hatch cover to spare tire well..
Any ideas? I want this fixed before winter

start checking the pump/tank. make sure all bolts under the back seat are tightened [fuel pump cover, line, etc.]

Take the bottom part of your rear seats out. Check the fuel pump cover. It probably worked its way loose or something.

Up until alst week backseates were out and had been out all summer. Fuel tank cover is secure. If you think I should RE check I will, but im 99.99% sure its tight.

i had the same problem but it turned out to be that my gas line to the fuel rail wasn't tight enough...the washer needed to be replaced (that was after i did the swap )

Does the smell get stronger when you have a full tank of gas?

not that I am aware of. I am at a half tank now and can still smell it strongly. NOt enough that it gets me "high" but just enough to annoy.

Check the fuel filter inlet the filter crush washers are probably leaking. The new filters come with them.

That happened to me...one of my Fuel injector O-rings broke so it was spewing gas out of the fuel rail..check for leaks around there.
