Hi everyone, i am new to this forum so let me introduce myself...

My name is adem and i have a 97 integra gsr. i've been driving it for two years and i love it. Its red w/ no mods yet...ok after introducing me (or my car), here is my problem

My car was running real poor and it started to act like there was no gas in it so i took it to the shop and after jiggling the spark plug wires, car turned off and we cannot get it to work. We changed the distributor thinking that was the problem but it is still doing the same thing. It grinds and the engine gets gas but no spark. He checked to see if the distributor gets spark from the battery and it does, but seems like it won't leave the distributor. Some other mechanics told him we had to inspect each and every cable that is coming from the ECU to the distributor and i think that is going to be a pain in the rear. So, has anybody seen this problem and what are the possible solutions to it other than ripping out all the cables from ECU to the distributor.

after doing a search all night, i found two things could be wrong... coil and main relay. Anything else anybody can add to the list?
