car not running/running horribly
now before i get to the meat and potatoes lemme give you some background here. bought the gsr from a dealership and it needed some cosmetic work. it looks like the previous owner was a moron. it had a huge tach and a shift light. it has a v-afc even though the car is stock save for the shitty one-off catback system he put on there. okay so i take the car in for some work and they tell me it needs new ignition coild and a little and it should run great, which it does for about 10 minutes after driving it back from the shop. now whenever the car starts it acts funny and by funny i mean it doesnt work very well at all. ok heres the tricky part the car when running will repond to throttle increases by dropping all rpms to nothing but not shutting the car because as soon as you let off the throttle it goes back up to what it was idling at. the only way around that problem that i have found is to very gently increase the throttle and then you can go wide open with the throttle from that point. also sometimes the car will make a sound like a dying moose when you apply too much throttle and then it proceeds to shoot exhaust out of the intake. im horribly lost and any kind of insight would be much appreciated. thanks alot guys.
Kinda sounds like either the plug wires are in the worng place, or the timing is WAY off. It seems like it is flooding the engine as soon as you press on the gas. I would check the fireing order, plugg the plugs and check them.
O wait, do you still have the VFAC hooked up?? If so check the fuel adjustment and make sure it is not trying to dump fuel in at idle
